Internal Audit: Position and Function

The Internal Audit is an independent body of the University of Zurich.

It reports directly to the Board of the University. To perform its duties, the Board of the University has appointed an Audit Committee to assist in fulfilling its supervisory function. As a rule, the Audit Committee meets four times a year and serves as the direct point of contact for the Internal Audit department and the Cantonal Audit Office of the Canton of Zurich (external audit).

The Internal Audit reports to the Audit Committee and is administratively assigned to the President of the University of Zurich.
